List of lectures

  • Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD — Solo exhibition: Joining Heaven and Earth, Continued. Suppose you were to visit another planet, and on this planet there were no things, only sounds. The entire planet consisted of sounds. Nothing to see, only hear. This particular planet’s sounds were all composed by Brahms Monday through Friday. Saturday Mozart, Sunday Bach. It really was quite a planet especially if  you had good hearing. Every so often the atmosphere changed on this Brahmsian planet, and all of a sudden you could not only hear sounds but you could see the sounds. Actually see the music. That’s what these drawings are. Seeing the music, not from planet Brahms, but from right here, planet Earth.
Lecture: What’s Love got to do with it?
